How to make a push notification

  1. Set up the service once in the messaging settings. Your credentials stay in your browser.
  2. Pick a hard-to-guess topic, subscribe to it in the ntfy app, write the message.
  3. Click Send and confirm. Each recipient’s result is shown.

Is it free?
Yes. ntfy.sh is free for normal use, and Nightroll is free. No account is needed; an access token is only for protected topics.
Who can read my notifications?
Anyone who knows the topic name can subscribe to it, so use a long, random topic (the Random topic button makes one) or a protected topic with an access token. Messages go from your browser straight to ntfy.sh.
