Nightroll

Free DNS Lookup

Type a domain to see its DNS records from two public resolvers.

Your browser asks Cloudflare and Google directly. TTL is how many seconds an answer may be cached.

How to make a DNS lookup

  1. Type a domain name.
  2. Pick the record types.
  3. Compare the answers; a badge shows when the two resolvers disagree.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the answers come from?
Your browser asks Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8) directly over HTTPS. Nightroll’s server is not involved.
Why do the two differ?
Usually a recent change that has not reached every resolver yet. It settles once the old record’s TTL runs out.
