⚠️ Fact checks are only as good as the model and the sources it finds. Smaller and free models often miss, misread or invent sources: open the links and judge for yourself, and use a capable model (for example Claude Sonnet, GPT or Gemini Pro) for anything that matters.

💸 = sends one request to OpenRouter, billed to your account (free models cost nothing). Nothing is sent while you type. This tool also searches the web first, which adds a search fee of about $0.02 to each request.

Your text stays in this tab and goes to OpenRouter only when you click a 💸 button. Nightroll keeps nothing, but OpenRouter and the model provider have their own data retention rules.

How to make a fact check

  1. Connect your OpenRouter account once in the AI settings.
  2. Paste the claim to check.
  3. Click the 💸 button. Only then is your request sent to OpenRouter; copy the result or try again.

What does it cost?
Nightroll is free. Each click on a 💸 button sends one request to OpenRouter, which charges your account for the model you chose (usually a fraction of a cent for text), or nothing with a free model. The cost is shown under the result. Nothing is ever sent while you type.
Is my text stored?
Not by Nightroll. It stays in this tab and goes from your browser to OpenRouter and the model provider only when you click, and their policies apply. By default only providers that do not store or train on prompts are used.
