Licensed residential electrician · Lic. #000000

One electrician.
Start to finish.

When you call Bright Wire, you get the person who does the work: no dispatcher, no rotating crew, no salesperson. I quote the job before I touch a wire, pull the permits when they’re required, and leave your home cleaner than I found it.

Common jobs & typical prices

Every home is different, so these are ranges, not quotes. I’ll give you a firm price after a look (in person or from photos) before any work starts. No surprise add-ons.

Outlet or switch not working

$125–$250

Usually a loose connection or a worn-out device. Most are fixed in under an hour, including a new outlet if it needs one.

Breaker keeps tripping

$150–$400

I find out whether the circuit is overloaded, the breaker is failing, or something on the line is faulty, and fix the cause rather than the symptom.

Ceiling fan or light fixture

$150–$350

Swap an old fixture or hang a new fan on an existing box. If the box isn’t rated for a fan, I replace it so it won’t wobble loose.

GFCI / AFCI protection

$175–$300

Bring kitchens, baths, garages and outdoor outlets up to current code so a fault cuts power before it hurts someone.

Level 2 EV charger

$900–$2,000

A dedicated 240V circuit, permit and inspection. Price depends mostly on the distance from your panel and how much capacity it has left.

Panel upgrade (100A → 200A)

$2,500–$4,500

For older homes adding AC, an EV, or a kitchen remodel. I coordinate with the utility for the disconnect and handle the permit.

What happens when you call

  1. You call or send the form. I pick up myself, or call back the same day. Tell me what’s going on and send a photo if you can.
  2. You get a price. Simple jobs get a quote over the phone. Bigger ones get a visit and a written estimate, free.
  3. I do the work. On time, with drop cloths down. If I find something unexpected, I stop and talk to you before going further.
  4. You check it. I walk you through what I did, test everything in front of you, and leave the paperwork and permit sign-off with you.

When to call right away

Some electrical problems can wait for an appointment. These can’t. If you notice any of them, turn off the affected breaker if it’s safe to reach, and call.
